As a Reliability Engineering Technician, you will provide support to new product development programs, sustain engineering programs, investigate failures, and analyze field reliability data for medical devices. You will be part of our team involved from product inception through product launch and maintenance, and play an active role in the processes to ensure products meet quality standards, policies and regulatory requirements. Primary Responsibilities and Duties + Prepare reliability or verification test protocols and reports + Scrutinize each test setup and procedure, then give feedback or suggestions for improvements. + Perform reliability tests to determine reliability of components, devices and processes and prepare test reports detailing the results. + Investigate the root cause of failures and detail fact-based findings. + Find opportunities to improve reliability and reduce costs. + Conduct experiments that explore new materials and help engineering understand how they will perform in customers hands. Required Education and Experience + Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering OR 2-4 years related Technician experience required. + Proven track record of creative problem solving and technical innovation. + Expertise with FMEAs, Fault Trees, Analysis of Reliability Test data, Reliability Test Planning preferred.
